Saint You

(I had started writing a new collection of poetry in 2020, just before COVID hit, to have been titled: "Moving On." I never finished it, and no longer have the desire to. Still, I wrote these and there's no reason not to share them.)
I almost married someone once
who is named after a saint.
Ironic now,
I'm marrying a man who is one.
Seriously,
how someone with a brain like yours
has any patience
for someone with a brain like mine
baffles me to no end.
Logic dictates
we should frustrate the hell
out of each other,
but we don't.
Whenever we encounter a problem,
we treat it like a dance.
We navigate through it carefully
And respectfully,
And keep ourselves level and focused.
Every problem makes us a stronger whole.
